The vision of the YWCA of Malaysia is for
a fully inclusive nation where:
unity, justice, peace, human rights, freedom and dignity prevail
irrespective of race, religion, culture and language,
and the sustainable development of the environment
and the support of health & care are ensured.

The YWCA of Malaysia unites Local Associations as an active
volunteer membership movement for women & girls.
Inspired by the Christian faith, the YWCA of Malaysia works with
women and girls irrespective or race, religion, culture, language
and socio-economic circumstances to:
Self worth & dignity
help them recognise and realise that they are
of equal value in the sight of God
with the potential to contribute to society;
Self determination
enable them to achieve self determination
and self reliance in all areas of life,
motivate and enable them to achieve their full potential
physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually;
Leadership
develop their leadership, collective power and moral courage
to take responsible action towards improving the status of
women, youth, children, family and society.
