YWCA of Malaysia

YWCA KUALA LUMPUR is situated on the fringe of the city centre. Just 15 minutes on foot and you could be boarding an intercity coach or ordering a meal at Chinatown. Within 10 minutes you could be on your way to college, meetings or shopping sprees via the light rail network.

Rooms and Rates
Our rooms are furnished and contain a wardrobe and study desk or dressing table. We provide bed linen for daily room guests: sheets, pillowcases and blankets.

Bedsitters and studio flats are on the 4th-6th floors of the Vocational Training Opportunity Centre. Each of these has an ensuite bathroom. Each studio flats has an ensuite living room and kitchenette.

Check-out time: 11 a.m. – 12 noon
Cleaning:
The kitchen, bathrooms and all communal areas are cleaned daily. Residents clean their own rooms.

Non Air-conditioned Single	:	RM320 per month
Non Air-conditioned Double	:	RM180 per person per month
Non Air-conditioned Bedsitter	:	RM550 per month (double occupancy) RM500 per month for full time students
Air-conditioned Bedsitter	:	RM650 per month (double occupancy) RM600 per month for full time students
Non Air-conditioned Studio Flat	:	RM900 per month (double occupancy)
Air-conditioned Studio Flat	:	RM1,000 per month(double occupancy)

* A one-month’s deposit is required upon confirmation of booking.
** Minimum stay : 3 months. Maximum stay : 2 years.

Non Air-conditioned Triple	:	RM70 per night (with breakfast)

Non Air-conditioned Bedsitter	:	RM60 per night (double occupancy)
Air-conditioned Bedsitter	:	RM70 per night (double occupancy)
Non Air-conditioned Studio Flat	:	RM90 per night (double occupancy)
Air-conditioned Studio Flat	:	RM100 per night (double occupancy)

* Discounts available for stays of 7 nights or longer in bedsitters and studio flats.

Take the KLIA Express to KL Sentral (28 minutes only; RM35 per person), then take the Putra line to the Pasar Seni station.

You also have a choice of taking either a budget taxi or a limo, which will take you directly to the YWCA. Coupons can be purchased at counters after the baggage claim and customs area.

Turn left at the main entrance/exit. Walk past AnCasa Hotel and turn left immediately after Watson’s into Jalan Sultan. When you reach the T-junction, turn left into Jalan Hang Jebat. The YWCA is after the school on your left.

Taxies are likely to insist (illegally) on a flat rate rather than charge according to the meter.

Putra LRT	Stop at the Pasar Seni station, walk across the road towards Jalan Hang Jebat. (A bus terminal should be on your right, with Central Market on your left.) Walk straight up the road past a traffic light and a chapel on your right. The YWCA is immediately after the school on your left.
Star LRT	Stop at the Hang Tuah station and take the pedestrian bridge across Jalan Hang Tuah. Turn into the perpendicular road which is Jalan Hang Jebat. Walk down the road past a school on your right and a stadium on your left. The YWCA will be on your left.
Monorial	Stop at the Hang Tuah station. Take the exit that goes towards Jalan Hang Jebat. Walk down Jalan Hang Jebat (perpendicular to Jalan Hang Tuah) past a school on your right and a stadium on your left. The YWCA will be on your left.
